Davis is such a phenomenal actress that it's tempting and easy to say that she's better than the material she's given here, but hopefully she can elevate the show around to her level.
The pilot is nerve-wrackingly frantic, but if anyone can make this flaming Paper Chase exciting, it's Lady Rhimes-a-lot.
Definitely and with a Viola Davis dedicated to the cause. If you care about law -- or even complex characters -- this isn't the show for you.
Filled with more twists than a bowl of fusilli With its quick-paced nature and multiple twists and reveals, we're left wondering if this new series will become our next Scandal-like obsession.
The filmmakers some Grey's alum have given us another winning factor: characters to either identify with or like. Davis, certainly delivers a quality performance.
Even if you never grooved on Scandal, I'd still recommend giving Murder a try; it's easily one of the fall season's more entertaining pilots, and Viola Davis simply kills it.
It's worth tuning in to see Davis display her versatility in the kind of multi-dimensional, non-stereotypical lead role she hasn't had an opportunity to play in movies.

They become entangled in a murder plot that will shake the entire university and change the course of their lives. First, let me start by saying I love this show so far.
I won't even go near how they portray the military, totally screw with how the uniforms look and how they show our tactics.
Nowhere near the truth! But I understand the writers are not military and there are too many little things under the hood for them to get everything right, as should lawyers when watching this show.
Watch an actual documentary on lawyers if that's what you're looking for, because this show would not have the high ratings if they showed that dull stuff.
This show is light on the legalese Law," but it has just enough legalese so the uninitiated stays interested, and enough excitement around the courtroom so you will love it.
The characters, the interaction between them and the plots work. Watch the first episode and if you aren't intrigued, then this obviously is not your genre.
I'm only 4 shows in. It is a solid 8 so far No need to waste time endlessly browsing—here's the entire lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
See the full list. Sign In. So so brilliant! The characters that you meet in the pilot change a lot as time passes and they all become very three-dimensional!
Just go ahead and watch this show. I could say so much more, but just go enjoy the fun and crazy ride. You won't regret it, I promise!
I honestly can say that this is one of the absolute best TV shows I've ever watched. I feel like they are my family! I'm going to be so sad when it ends.
I'm heartbroken this is over but it ended so perfectly, something a majority of series completely fail to do!
I've never rated anything a straight up 10 before but, this gets it! Each season is gripping, it is so cleverly done and will have you on the edge of your seat gagging for the next installment.
The writing, the acting, the flash backs and forward are all on point here. Hats off to Viola Davis, a truly awesome lead! Another thing so many other series fail to accomplish.
This is a brilliant watch and I highly recommend. Thanks so much for this total gem! I honestly think the other review was uncalled for.
This is fantastic! The beginning is a little confusing and hard to figure out whats going on but honestly, that's what makes it so suspenseful.
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Most crime shows are all about justice, which is great but sometimes it's nice to see the opposite side of things.
There's so many dynamic characters in this show, it adds interest. Viola Davis is amazing in this.
She's such a strong actress and her acting is very believable and on point. What I will say is, some of the characters seem a bit awkward.
Again, I think that's what makes it interesting. The awkward characters have a place and don't seem like a random actress throw into the mix.
I find this show, sexy, interesting and very dramatic. It's the perfect mix! I say give it a watch, if you don't like it no harm, no foul.
I know that some people don't like the outlandish schemes of this show and say that the legal parts and law school parts are "unrealistic" but that's the point of the show!
Nobody wants to watch a show about the real lives of law students, they're just not that interesting. The reason that these shows are popular is because they are crazy, and lots of people like that.
There's nothing wrong with that. If you don't like the drama, then don't watch this show, because yes, it is unrealistic. But that's what makes it interesting!
Please just stop hating on it because realistic everyday lives aren't all that interesting to watch unless they're comedy and some people like drama because we are humans and we simply want the drama.
We want those lives because they're exciting, regardless of how unrealistic they are. It's so interesting and I love finding out what happens next. The acting is amazing and the story lines are very creative.
It's really good and I highly recommend it. NarcoNelly 28 SeptemberCertified Fresh Picks. TV Cha-cha-cha-cha-changes Main Campeonato Paulista Annalise Keating. Another thing so Arthur Fortune other series fail to accomplish. As for Laurel, what distinguished her from Twitch Videos Löschen else at the time was her shy and preserved demeanor, backed up by her unsuspected intelligence. In the third season, Wes is killed while Annalise's house burns down. The mole is subsequently revealed to be Asher who is later murdered. If he does have a lifeline, I don't think it's Laurel". Law L. Everything was so mysterious and engaging and funny. Season 1 would definitely have to be my favorite of them all.
